What does it include?
São Lourenço do Barrocal
Located on the hillside of the medieval village of Monsaraz and close to the Alqueva Lake, São Lourenço do Barrocal is an old farming village (an ‘Alentejo mountain’), carefully converted into a luxury hotel, amidst centuries-old vineyards, holm oaks and olive trees. On the 780-hectare estate, run by the same family for 200 years, they continue to farm, producing certified organic livestock, fruit and vegetables, olive oil and wine. It consists of a winery, two restaurants with natural products, its own orchard, an agro-shop and a Spa. It also has two outdoor swimming pools, its own farm, an organic vegetable garden, stables, horseback riding and a wide range of activities.
