What does this private experience consist of?
Put yourself in the shoes of a beekeeper and learn about the life of bees? It is also possible at Abadía Retuerta. Learn all about the care of apiaries, honey production and the life of these animals, ending the day with a tasting of wines and honey-related products.
The apiary
Explanation and recommendations on how to behave in the apiary with the collaboration of Miel “Oro del Duero”.
Towards the apiary
La Finca:
Tour to the apiary interpreting the landscape and flora existing in our farm.
Observation of bees
Delivery of protection equipment and observation of a beehive, identification of its inhabitants and basic notions of beekeeping management.
The wine
The force of gravity:
Tour of the winemaking room and the red and white barrel rooms.
Tasting and aperitif
The end of the trip:
To culminate this beekeeping day, back at the winery, we will taste three different honeys, paired with wine and cheese.
