Commitment to Effective Equality between Women and Men
ABADÍA RETUERTA SA declares its commitment to the establishment and development of policies that integrate equal treatment and opportunities between women and men, without discriminating directly or indirectly on the basis of sex, as well as the promotion and encouragement of measures to achieve real equality within our organization, establishing equal opportunities between women and men as a strategic principle of our Corporate and Human Resources Policy, in accordance with the definition of this principle established by the Organic Law 3/2007 of March 22, 2007, for effective equality between women and men.
In each and every area of our activities, from recruitment to promotion, salary policy, training, working and employment conditions, occupational health, working time management and work-life balance, we assume and apply the principle of equal opportunities between women and men.
These principles are put into practice through an Equality Plan and the promotion of positive action measures that improve our management system and guarantee an internal structure free of gender discrimination, while at the same time contributing to progress towards a society in which equality is effective and real.
In recognition of its commitment, ABADÍA RETUERTA SA has been distinguished in 2019 with the Equal Opportunities between Women and Men in Business Award granted by the Provincial Council of Valladolid. It also has the Óptima distinction from the Junta de Castilla y León in recognition of the adoption of policies in the entity aimed at implementing measures, improvement processes and good practices in terms of equal opportunities between women and men, reconciliation of personal, family and work life and elimination of the gender pay gap.
