An inherent curiosity and an ongoing dialectic between time, dialogue and space — these are the roots of this special union. By looking to the past, present and future, we have designed this exclusive case; it is based on the work Untitled by Eduardo Chillida, a piece that seems to come into being as we contemplate it. The packaging features natural brushstrokes, resembling the roots that bind us to the land.
This case contains a unique Abadía Retuerta wine, called Tiempo, Diálogo, Espacio (Time, Dialogue, Space). It represents the values and sensibilities of the two worlds of art and winemaking, and is a work of art in its own right. This is a collectors’ wine that showcases the sheer virtue of a terrain quite like no other.
Looking to the past
The pieces Rumor de límites V and Untitled were created at times when Eduardo Chillida was working on the concepts of the limit and its resonance.

Rumor de límites VThe piece Rumor de Límites V, by Eduardo Chillida — part of Abadía Retuerta’s art collection — is the starting point for the design of this exclusive, limited-edition case.
2022
LoturaAbadía Retuerta has received the sculpture Lotura on a temporary loan. The work is made from solid steel, which was forged and slowly bent during the process. It stands vertically, like a tree in nature.
2024
Special EditionContinuity of the unique relationship between Eduardo Chillida and Abadía Retuerta, by means of a unique and exclusive creation to mark the centenary of the artist’s birth. The chosen work, Untitled (1963), fortuitously evokes the structure of a grapevine, with its trunk, branches and roots.
